Officially made it to the end of my 15th year since my first wedding. What a year! I say this every year but I’m genuinely so thankful for my couples. I get to experience emotions that most people won’t ever understand. My life is full of vows, promises, being told love story after love story, toasts from love ones, endless mashed potatoes and cha cha slides. I experience the most pivotal important days front row alongside each person, which is a privilege. As a photographer you EXPERIENCE it. EVERY emotion, EVERY moment, you are there from looking into the mirror of the moment of holy crap I’m getting married today, to setting up the groom to see his soon to be wife, the tears… the joy…everything.

I get to travel the world, own my own home and wake up each day knowing I leave a hand print on the world which is because I have amazing couples who say yes to me. It’s what I get up each day for. And I love you all for that 💛

I love telling a good love story. I flew out to San Diego earlier this summer to meet one of my California couples, we explored Balboa Park before we headed to our epic beach photo time. Such a magical, beautiful location 🍃

When I started this competition last year in season 1, I originally wanted just a really positive place for my models to gain confidence, explore their creativity and to support one another, but it’s grown into so much more, thanks to all of you. Not every bride chooses to have details photos of her wedding day, but when they do, I love it when my floral teams look out for us photographers.

A really great floral experience will have some set aside for you like @flocalcofloralstudio did here. But I recommend ALWAYS asking your floral team before the wedding day in your final meeting because very few will automatically send some like this, but in my experience they are always more than happy to sneak some in for you 🤍

@flocalcofloralstudio is a love of mine. She’s always coming in clutch for the wedding days 🍃
